Dothan Pediatric Subspecialty Clinic Celebrates 1 Year in New Location
We are happy to announce the one-year anniversary of our new Dothan Pediatric Subspecialty Clinic location – it was in 2010 that we first announced ourselves as The Westgate Center due to our placement on Westgate Parkway.
In 2018, we were renamed due to the addition of new subspecialty providers. On April 14, 2020, we moved to our new 25,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility located at 5565 Montgomery Highway.

Here we are just 12 months later. Dothan Pediatric Subspecialty Clinic is completely up and running offering comprehensive subspecialty care to thousands of patients from Alabama, Florida, and Georgia without the burden of traveling to larger cities.
It has been exciting to see what has been achieved over the past year. We moved to our new location; our staff has grown from 15 to 30 employees; we have seen over 5,000 patients from all over the southeast while also gaining around 3,000 new patients; we brought multiple new services such as our full-service laboratory, x-ray, and our new sleep center, one of only two pediatric sleep centers in Alabama.
At Dothan Pediatric Subspecialty Clinic, our pediatric specialists provide the community with a variety of specialty services, including; Endocrinology, Cardiology, Neurology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Adolescent Medicine, and Surgery Consults and Follow-Ups. All of our Pediatric Specialists have received extensive training in their specific area of practice. Our clinic supports infants, children, teens, and young adults who need one-time or ongoing subspecialty care.
What does the future look like for us? In the future, we hope to add another pediatric gastroenterologist and a pediatric allergist to our team.
The last year has been an intense journey! We want to take this opportunity to thank our staff, our providers, our shareholders, and the Wiregrass and surrounding areas. Of course, we must also thank our patients, who collectively took a chance on a new location and new building, but who have been irreplaceable in making us what we are today!
